Disarming Designs is a bold, rebellious Graphic & Brand Identity Design studio run by me, Shalayne, a Graphic Designer (+ occasional troublemaker) who doesn’t do vanilla. I’m a designer specialising in Brand identity design for Australian businesses + brands.

I give a shit about good design because your brand deserves to be seen, to be remembered. I’ve built this thing off passion projects, wild ideas + the kind of what-if-we-just-fucking-did-it moments that safe designers steer clear of. Every project I take on I view as a chance to push my design work further than what’s ‘expected.’

I took the educational route and obtained a Diploma of Graphic Design but honestly I believe great design isn’t about playing by the rules - it’s about taking the knowledge I acquired and shaking it up. Yes every decision I make has strategy behind it, but it’s also got guts, personality, and a healthy dose of attitude.
